Welcome to my website, I'm so glad you're here. Heidi Rakas Photography is an award-winning newborn photographer with a studio in Eugene, Oregon. If you're here for timeless and natural newborn photos that will never go out of style, you've come to the right place! At my studio, I believe that babies are perfect just as they are; the way you want to remember them--perfect, natural, and oh so sweet. At my photography studio, I keep props to a minimum and guide babies into natural poses. I specialize in documenting the in-between moments of love, laughter, and (sometimes) tears--the moments that are so special, but often overlooked. While newborn photography is my niche, I also specialize in maternity photography, milestone sessions, and family photography! Hi there, it's me! I'm Heidi, the lady behind the camera! Thank you so much for your interest in working with me, I really am so glad that you found me. I would be honored to photograph your baby and family in a timeless and natural way. I am obsessed with capturing those special in-between moments of silliness, laughter, crazy, and love--that we oftentimes overlook. Since time-travel isn't a thing, I use pictures to beautifully capture fleeting moments that are otherwise gone. My clients tell me that I create a natural environment during photo sessions, which really helps them relax, have FUN, and allows me to capture special moments! I've been described as incredibly down-to-earth, genuine, patient, and can get along with pretty much anyone.
