Simple, Relaxed Session + Timeless Photos You’ll Cherish forever

01: Inquire & Book

Once you inquire, I’ll confirm availability, and you can officially reserve your session with a $200 session retainer fee. This holds your date and begins the planning process. Sessions take place in the Eugene, Oregon area.

02: Plan with Ease

After booking, I’ll send over my planning guide to help you feel fully prepared. We’ll go over everything together, from location or studio details to styling.

Most newborn sessions take place in my home studio in Eugene, where I provide all wraps, props, and styling pieces so everything feels simple and taken care of. You’ll also have access to my client closet for maternity and family sessions.

03: Session Day

Your session day is relaxed, fun, and centered around your family. With a background in special education, I’m experienced working with newborns and children of all ages and personalities, and skilled at keeping sessions calm and enjoyable. We move at your family’s pace, allow plenty of time for breaks, and focus on natural connection, movement, and a variety of meaningful images.

04: Choose What You Love

After your session, you’ll view a private gallery and choose the images and collection that feel right for your family. Collections start at $700, with most families choosing $900+ in images and artwork they love most.

The best time to book your newborn session is as early as possible to ensure availability, ideally while you’re still pregnant. If you love those curled-up, sleepy poses, the sweet spot is around two weeks old. However, my natural, timeless approach allows me to create beautiful images at any age—newborns are considered such until about eight weeks! No matter when we schedule your session, it’s always the perfect time to begin documenting your little one’s journey.

No problem! I reserve flexibility in my schedule to accommodate early or late arrivals. Just notify me once your baby is born, and we’ll confirm the session date.

Newborn sessions typically last 2-3 hours, but I always block out 4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and documenting those precious in-between moments. You will not feel rushed, and I’ll ensure you’re comfortable and relaxed the whole session.

Yes! I offer a selection of neutral and organic-colored wraps, outfits for the baby, and timeless wardrobe options for moms and siblings to keep the session stress-free and cohesive. I’ll also provide a welcome guide that includes other tips to help you plan and coordinate outfits.

Absolutely! I encourage family participation in the session to capture timeless, emotional moments with your new baby. This is true of ALL sessions that I offer. I do not charge an additional fee for immediate family members.

You don’t need to bring much—just your baby and the essentials for feeding or soothing.

I’ve got everything covered, from props and wraps to a curated wardrobe of outfits. My studio is fully equipped with a bottle warmer, nursing chair, and all the comforts to help you feel right at home.
If you have sentimental items, like a hand-knitted blanket or a family heirloom, I’d love to incorporate them into some of the photos to make your session even more meaningful.

Absolutely! I’m passionate about getting your photos off the cloud and into your hands. Corresponding digital images are included with all print purchases and are also part of all my collections, so you’ll have both beautiful physical prints and high-quality digital copies to cherish and share.

Don’t worry! With years of experience working with newborns, I’ve mastered the art of patience and flexibility. I allow plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks to ensure a relaxed, stress-free session. While it’s rare for things not to go smoothly, rest assured I capture plenty of beautiful moments throughout the session—even when your baby is awake. Those wide-eyed shots often end up being some of my favorites!

About a week after your session, your photos will be ready for viewing. You can choose to access them digitally through an online gallery or join me in the studio for an in-person reveal and ordering session.
One of the best parts of an in-person session is the chance to see and feel the beautiful, tangible products I offer. Many clients find this helps them make confident decisions about how they want to showcase their favorite images. Whether you prefer to view them from the comfort of home or enjoy the full studio experience, I’m here to help you every step of the way.

As a mom of three, trust me—I completely understand! With nearly a decade of experience photographing children professionally, I can confidently say that I’ve yet to meet a client who didn’t love their final images. My background in elementary and special education, combined with my love for working with kids of all ages, has well-prepared me to handle any situation—and I find so much beauty in the chaos.

I focus on documenting genuine, in-between moments rather than forcing stiff, unnatural poses (though don’t worry, we’ll get a beautiful mix of both posed and lifestyle images). One thing I’ve learned is that threats and pressure rarely work—instead, I let your little ones take the lead, ensuring the experience is fun and relaxed for them. And when needed, I’m not opposed to using special treats to keep kiddos engaged!
